I’ve chosen to use Liberapay because it is a platform built by and for creators who are contributing to the commons. Unlike other services like GoFundMe or Patreon, it doesn’t charge fees and doesn’t sell data. It uses Stripe or PayPal on the back-end to process donations. You can also use this link to make a one-time donation by canceling the recurring donation immediately after donating.
